Constructed to accommodate dynamic regional growth along the Highway 288 corridor, Heritage Junior High School establishes a new benchmark for secondary learning environments in Brazoria County. Designed by PBK Architects and delivered under Angleton ISD’s voter-approved 2022 Bond program, the facility was engineered from the ground up to support modern middle school pedagogies with scalable, technology-driven spaces.

PBK organized the campus around an open, intuitive floor plan that separates high-activity civic wings—including athletics, fine arts, and large dining spaces—from focused academic neighborhoods. The two-story classroom wings emphasize interdisciplinary learning, pairing standard classrooms with flexible common break-out areas and advanced STEM laboratory stations. Generous daylighting strategies, clear sightlines and modern security-focused vestibules define the architectural envelope, offering a safe, vibrant setting tailored to junior high student development.
